Best software for payroll?

I am starting a small business where I will be paying employees per session with allotted times of 60, 90 and 120 minutes. Each session has a rate and I need to keep tabs on the appointments and pay my subcontractors their split. Anyone know where to find a good excel spreadsheet or software program to help me record this. I also want to be able to download info from my PDA into the excel spreadsheet.
