Does anyone know if you need any vaccinations if ur a USA citizen traveling to Caracas Venezuela?

I am traveling from the USA (I'm a american citizen, first ever flying out of the usa) and going to the Caracas Airport then to Margarita Island for a weeks stay,then coming back to the USA,, I have been told you do not need any vaccinations or immunizations, but was wondering if anyone knew.
